H&M, the Swedish giant of fashion announced one of its most important collaborations: Balmain x H&M. Like every year, H&M collaborates with a prestigious fashion house creating a Limited Edition for her and for him.

It’s a Capsule Collection in very #BalmainArmy style, designed by the young designer Olivier Rousterlin, born in 1986, who turned the brand symbol of French luxury into a worldwide phenomenon of pop culture. The designer said: “I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. H&M allows me the unique possibility of bringing everyone into the world of Balmain, get a piece of the dream and create a global #HMBalmaination: a movement of togetherness, fueled on a hashtag. The collaboration felt extremely natural to me: H&M is a brand that everybody connects to. It calls for unity, and I am all for it.”

The Lookbook shows a Collection of interesting and rich textures, decorations, sequins, leather and embroidery, proof that minimalism, as we know, is a distant memory. But in the Collection there are also wearable pieces as cotton t-shirt with the brand’s logo, military-style shirts, coats and blazers.

The pieces will be available in 250 selected Stores and on the e-commerce of the brand from the 5th of November, in the meantime, you can find the most interesting items leafing through the Lookbook.

  1. In my opinion, this is disgusting and a complete disgrace to the brand and French fashion. I cannot fathom the horror of what has become of so many brands now including Balmain. Pierre Balmain must be rolling in his grave.
