A pair of shoes, a coffee, a challenge and some“nice shoes”.
These are the main elements of the new Nespresso spot with 2 Oscars winners as main characters: George Clooney, historic face of the brand worldwide known for his unforgettable payoff “what else”, and Jean Dujardin.
The story is set at Villa Erba on the shores of the Como lake, where a dapper Clooney meets his antagonist,  a super casual Dujardin. At the bar, George realizes that the last coffee cup was taken by Dujardin who offers him to exchange his beautiful loafers with an anonymous pair of plastic flip-flops.
Well, if many of you already know the story and its nice epilogue, only a few knows that the much-disputed shoes are Italian, from Marche.
We are talking about the Carlos Santoni, penny loafers in woven calfskin leather, which confirm once again this Italian brand as a pure ambassador of good taste and Made in Italy around the world.
