Some of you will probably remember our trip to Los Angeles last year to attend the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards, otherwise you can refresh your memory right HERE.

If I’ve decided to talk again about the BTC is because the 8°th edition of this important award took place last week.

Fresh from the success of Interstellar starring Matthew Mcconaughey, the strong link between Hamilton and the world of film is back to prize those figures that work “behind the cameras”.

The BTC night was hosted by Matthew Morrison (“Glee”), together with Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, Patricia Arquette, Emily Blunt (“The Devil Wears Prada”).

Among the award-winning director Bennett Miller for “Foxcatcher”, Sandra Adair for mounting “Boyhood”, screenwriter JC Chandor for “A most violent year” and the director of photography Robert Yeoman for “Grand Budapest Hotel”.

The strength link between Hamilton and cinema can also easily see through the numbers, with the presence of Hamilton watches in over 400 movies from 1951 to today.

Below a gallery with some movies with Hamilton watches as protagonists.
