In the world of sneakers, the slip-on are certainly not something new, but this year they are forcefully returned, becoming the shoes of the season.
Their characteristics? Rubber sole and canvas structure, but especially the total absence of laces. Designed to be easily weared, the slip-on are “no thoughts shoes”.
Designed for lovers of BMX and skaters, the first slip-os have been introduced in 1976 by the historic footwear and clothing brand: Vans. These shoes are part of the skate culture, a symbol of individuality, free spirit and contemporary style.
The model of Vans has an original look and have a tapered shape, in addition, they have got a typical padded collar, to protect the ankles drift. The most famous and iconic model is in black and white square chessboard, which is now reworked into patterns, textures and graphics that resemble urban graffiti.
