Here’s a new post from the magical Taormina!
We took there pictures during the stay in one of our favorite hotels in the city, the Monte Tauro Hotel: architecture lovers like us will surely adore it!
Monte Tauro was born thanks to the successful meeting between the hard rocks of the coastline with the clear blue sea of Taormina and the result is a great example of how contemporary architecture can be perfectly integrated in the territory. In fact its hard concrete soul turns sweet when it meets the green of the balconies recalling the contrast between the rocks of the coast with the local vegetation.
Even if Monte Tauro Hotel is just few minutes far from Corso Umberto, the main street of the town, the view is one of the most spectacular on the Sicilian sea. The fantastic view can be even better appreciated when you are by the pool from which it’s possible to see from the Gulf of Naxos up to Etna.
For the day at the pool Filippo F. wears a Orlebar Brown swim suit with a retrò photo print purchased in Sydney at Harrorlds, (a very cool multibrand store) while Filippo C. wears Finamore boxers, an old Neapolitan tailor, with a graphic pattern.
Thanks to the Monte Tauro Hotel staff for the wonderful stay!
