Stefano Pilati is also a “bad boy” and thanks to this he’s been able to revive YLS receiving also few criticisms and opposition, especially at the beginning of his career inside the fashion house.
You know, taking the steps of the master of masters is an almost impossible task but he’s succeeded even without diluting his strong personality too. Pilati recently (in February 2012) left his role at YSL, position held since 2004, with great displeasure.
In 2013 he became Creative Director at Ermenegildo Zegna.
