HACKETT LONDON OPENING in milano
Last week I was invited to the inauguration of the first Hackett London store here in Italy.
From Milan to London. For one night. This is becousa I’ve been in a whole “British atmosphere” thanks to the iconic symbols of England such as the famous red telephone booths, taxis and bowler hats.
The boutique has been designed to revive the atmosphere of a chic men’s club. Let me say: no women allowed = D

E’stato un evento davvero fantastico, un aria quella che si respirava, British Gentleman. Il design, la cultura e ogni dettaglio richiamano perfettamente lo Store presente a Londra da me visitato in ogni mio viaggio. Quando a gennaio ho letto in via Manzoni, l’opening store sono rimasto ad occhi sbarrati. L’attesa ci ha sicuramente ricambiati. Sono contento che ti piaccia è un brand davvero bellissimo. In my opinion, the opening of this new shop is the event of the year (besides the opening of the new Acqua di Parma store in Milan). Yes, you read correctly : the event of the year, and not least. Do you realize? The English elegance’s temple at the heart of the Italian elegance’s emblematic city. It’s an incredible « wedding ».
More than just a shop, this new Hackett store is 500 square metres of pleasure (at least for me) in a magnificent and historical Milan “palazzo”. Everything is there : a sublime and refined setting, a “Savile Row” atmosphere and, of course, a line of products (clothing, luggage, accessories…) chic and exclusive.
To conclude, as I mentioned Acqua di parma, I dare a bold comparison: stroll through this new Hackett shop is like to live the unique experience of traditional shaving with a Master Barber in the new Acqua di Parma store, a moment of pure pleasure out of time
