This is the inconvenience of taking pictures without trusting the weather forecast. My yesterday outfit in fact doesn't fit at all the snow flakes that began to poor down during the shooting. Also thanks to a coat that, only after the first pictures, I realized wasn't matching at all with the rest of the look; I decided to face the weather in a short five minutes of shooting.
Even my new suede loafers that I showed you a few days ago, weren't a super brilliant choice. =)
Leaving apart banal links with the weather, what do you think about the look?

Ecco l'inconveniente di scattare delle foto senza fidarsi delle previsioni del tempo. Il mio outfit di ieri infatti non si accorda per nulla ai fiocchi di neve che hanno iniziato a scendere durante gli scatti.
Complice un cappotto che, soltanto dopo le prime foto, ho capito non abbinarsi per nulla al resto del look: ho quindi deciso di sfidare le intemperie in un breve shooting di cinque minuti.
Anche le mie nuove loafers in suede che vi ho mostrato qualche giorno fa, non sono state una scelta propriamente geniale. =)
Tralasciando collegamenti con il meteo, cosa ne pensate del look?

ReplyDeleteI like the color of the sweater and the shirt, but above all I love the velvet blazer! In fact, I have become a little bit obsessed with velvet blazers lately... I bought a black one a couple weeks ago! =) By the way, you didn't mention where the blazer is from.
Going back to the look, I love the choice of the multicolored handkerchief: the yellow in it matches the sweater under the blazer and the rest of colors add the pop of color to the whole look. Brilliant, in my opinion. I love, too, your shoes matching your Céline bag. Finally, and as usual, the jeans fit you PERFECTLY! =)

ReplyDeleteDark purple and yellow! This combination is perfect. Not only this colors are complementary, but in addition yellow brings a great intensity and dark purple adds softness. Moreover, for information, purple fosters the artistic sense.
About the velvet jacket, it’s clearly an essential in a man's wardrobe. First, if you opt for a velvet jacket of good quality, it will last longer than a conventional suit jacket. In addition, over time the velvet jacket acquired a beautifull "patina". Finally, the velvet jacket is both chic and casual, that’s why it can either be worn with a dress pants or with a jeans.
Concerning your "Tassel loafers" I’ve already given my opinion in your article "New shoes for me!". So I don't return on it, but I would simply add (in terms of my experience with suede shoes) that contrary to popular belief, suede shoes are very resistant, they are less "fragile" than some leather shoes, especially in the rain.
In conclusion, I find your style very successful and I would even say that it gives you a very "Saint-Germain-des-Prés" style.

I usually combine these colors together...! White and yellow shirt with purple sweater or vice versa; other of my favorite combinations is purple and red: white and purple shirt and red sweater, and white and red shirt and purple sweater... =) I love complimentary colors combined in clothing, they look great!

Worst: I would say that it gives the (young) man who is wearing them , Filippo as many others, nothing personnal !, 20 years on his shoulders!
