I'm back home after two days in Geneva (Suisse) for Iwc and the Sihh. It's been such an incredible, useful but also funny experience that I'm gonna tell you and show you in the next posts.
Today I want to share with you, I know I'm quite late, some of the pictures I took during the party at home to celebrate my 25th birthday. The theme? "Vodka and Macarons". In fact I have to thank Grey Goose for the vodka and the boutique Ladurée ( you can find it in via Spadari, Milano) for the crazy 100 Macarons pyramid-cake they sent me as birthday gifts. The kind of surprise able to drive me crazy!

Sono rientrato ieri sera a Milano dopo due giorni a Ginevra (Svizzera) per Iwc e il Sihh. È stata un'esperienza entusiasmante, istruttiva e molto divertente ma vi raccontenterò tutti i dettagli nei prossimi post.
Oggi invece voglio condividere con voi, con qualche giorno di ritardo, alcune delle foto scattate durante una serata molto piacevole a casa con alcuni amici per festeggiare il mio 25esimo compleanno. Il tema? "Vodka e Macaron".
Devo infatti ringraziare Grey Goose per la vodka e la boutique Ladurée di via Spadari a Milano per avermi inviato la pazzesca torta da 100 macarons. Come non impazzire di fronte ad una sorpresa del genere?
Grazie quindi a tutti per avermi regalato una serata davvero indimenticabile!

ReplyDeleteI totally love the doors in your apartment; the striped wall and the mirrors hanging on it; the faux boxwood balls and the vases; the small candleholders on the empire style console and the console itself (this is just gorgeous); the modern leather rocking chair...; well, actually I had a hard time finding something on there that I just don't love. I see you like the furniture from Maisons du Monde, don't you? =)

Even if Pablo said everything, I can't stop myself from telling you something.
So, indeed your apartment's decor is quite successful and the "panorama" is wonderful. Of course, your apartment already has beautiful decorative elements : herringbone parquet with a nice frieze around, a great "paint ornamentation" on the doors… Even so, the background isn't everything. That's why I think you've got a lot of talent. Notably, you’ve done well the combination of classic and modern, for exemple an empire console next to a Freud’s armchair (for my part, I've a preference for the Barcelona’s chair created by Van Rohe). Actually, the result is quite chic and masculine, in particular thanks to the choice of materials and colors. I also note a quite amusing point: your two livingrooms are identical, in any case the location of furniture!
Otherwise, about your party's theme, I look in vain, I see Ladurée macaroons, I also see some white wine, champagne and even Tanqueray gin (the best)... But no vodka! Were you really in your party? Of course, it's a joke, because I know you’e received a very good French vodka... Yummy yummy!
I also see that you've received beautiful gifts at this party and in the words of Van Rohe : « Gott steckt im Detail » (God is in the details), I notice that you hold in your hands, a map of Paris… Have you received as a gift, a trip to France? If so, I hope that the beautiful young man to your left will be with you! Of course I also will be happy to see you and... smell you ;-) In any case, I regret to haven't enjoyed a macaron with you!
In conclusion, I wish again, with all my heart: Happy Birthday !!!!!!

Deletescusa ma, da uno che cura i dettagli come te.certe cose non me le sarei aspettata..a partire dal piatto di plastica con dentro i pomodorini e la mozzarella..esiste il vetro la ceramica o la porcellana!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVogliamo parlare poi delle brocche per l ' acqua?? bruttine.......insomma un pò più di impegno avresti dovuto mettercelo dai invece di spendere tutto quel patrimonio in scarpe giacche e quant altro spendi un pò di tempo alla ricerca di stoviglie adeguate..
Per quanto riguarda la casa ciò che apprezzo veramente sono le ante delle porte davvero bellissime...per il resto...casa comune..nulla che non si potrebbe trovare in una qualsiasi e anomima casa italiana!
