Did you watch the fall/winter 2012 HUGO fashion show live stream and what is your opinion about the show?
The new HUGO Mens and Womenswear Collections were showcased on a white catwalk by more than 30 top international models including Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen and Mathias Lauridsen. The new collection is defined by brilliant contrasts and features precision design, artful tailoring and flowing fabrics. The silhouettes are clean and reductive; creating a HUGO look that is both minimalistic and luxurious.
I really liked the collection especially for the cut of the items with a strong tailor-made look and also for the super skinny fit.
800 invited guests attended the show and the parterre was full of celebrities like Rupert Everett, Julianne Moore, Georgia May Jagger, Pixie Geldof.

Una lunghissima e candida passerella bianca ha accolto oltre 30 top model tra cui Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Liu Wen e Mathias Lauridsen per presentare la nuova collezione targata Hugo, una collezione certamente definita da colori brillanti a contrasto e tessuti fluenti e capi dalla silhouette molto pulita e asciutta.
La collezione mi è molto piaciuta soprattutto per il taglio dei capi con forte connotazione tailor-made e fitting super skinny.
800 invitati hanno partecipato all'evento e il parterre era ricco di celebrità come Rupert Everett, Julianne Moore, Georgia May Jagger, Pixie Geldof.

Mmmm, I like some of them. Black and grey are always so elegant, chic, and stylish, as they are timeless; one of the differences of Hugo Boss is, in my opinion, that clothes may be elegant and chic but stay casual and make casual looks at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love the skinny suits that give a very polished look. I love, also, the shiny brown suit for women, it is so elegant: the sparkle definitely adds a touch of glamour.
About those bright colors, dark red and purple, I like them, although I think I would not wear one of those suits being a man: I would probably leave those colors for accessories and small pieces just to add a pop of color and interest to a boring look. Well, maybe that garnet would be beautiful in a pant for a formal look with a blazer or jacket, too.

So benissimo di andare controcorrente ma questa collezione non mi è piaciuta, avei preferito qualche capo di pelle per quanto riguarda la donna.
