I totaly agree with you, « Burberry fashion show is always such a big émotion ».

This FW 2012-2013 fashion show was very successful. The atmosphere was truly magical, especially with this rain, larger than life, but also with this incredible music, especially the title « Paris in the rain » of The Waterboys … Fabulous.

On clothing, I think (and I’m not the only one) that Christopher Bailey has completely managed the association between the English tradition and a certain eccentricity. With him, Burberry retained its aristocratic style while opening up to a very trendy world.

The Materials used are noble : tweed, quilted satin, velvet…, and the cut of the garments is very stylish. Of course we find the great classics such as the Chesterfield, the Trench-coat… But we find, too, contemporary éléments like the studded gloves and above the jackets that stop at mid-torso.

Finally, as always, the real chic lies in the détails. At this fashion show, in my opinion, the detail was the umbrella with its “duck head”, a So British accessory.
