showroom visit. FRANKIE MORELLO SS 2012.
I’ve been invited to have a look to the new collection presented by Italian design duo Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti for SS12 at FM showroom. I’ve already seen it on the catwalk during the fashion week but it’s better to see something from closer.
The female collection is a sincere tribute to Italy and it’s beauty while the male one explore the world of the metropolitan bikers. My favorite pieces are the “invisible trench” ( it’s perfect when you want to show what you are wearing even if it’s raining cats and dogs) for him and the little jewels inspired by the Italian monuments. Aren’t they cute?

Here in the Philippines, we have the same, less chic version–it’s called kapote (or raincoat). Never thought it would make a nice fashion statement!
