menswear. BURBERRY SPRING-SUMMER 2012.
Christopher Bailey’s collection left me pleasantly puzzled at first. I wondered if I was watching a fall-winter fashion show instead of spring-summer one.
If I think about summer I think about shirts, t-shirts and shorts. In addition to this, colors and color-blocking are ruling during this summer and, even if I’ve seen fluo colors even during these latest show, summer 2012 will be characterized also by warm but soft colors.
Only later I thought that this collection is designed starting from a typical British conception of summer but, considering that even here in Milan it keep on raining , I think it ‘s been a very smart choice.

filippo appena ho visto la sfilato ho pensato allo stesso , ma poi riflettendo bene , secondo me,è una sfilata pensata per un periodo che va da febbraio/marzo a settembre/ottobre dove fa ancora freddo alla mattina mentre si scalda nel pomeriggio, poi erano presenti anche shorts e t-shirts per i mesi caldi come giugno luglio e agosto .

sono d’accordo con te fino al punto che il marchio burberrys in una collezione cosi’ sembra suprfluo , Sembra piu’ una proposta personale dello stilista che una sua interpretazione del rigore british.
